Everything is ready to start the commercial launch of the new 2021 Toyota Mirai in the United States. The second generation of the successful car powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system is set to start. With this car, the Japanese manufacturer significantly raises its commitment to hydrogen as an option for sustainable mobility.

Sales of the new Mirai in the US market will start from next December. And, although Toyota has not revealed the prices for this model, it has confirmed the details of its range. A range that will consist of two levels of finish and is characterized by offering a complete set of standard equipment.

USA drivers interested in owning the new 2021 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) will be able to choose between two trim levels: XLE and Limited.

On a technical level, we are facing a totally new car. The new 2021 Mirai is powered by Toyota's TNGA platform. Inside it has five seats for adult passengers. The second-generation Mirai will offer an extended range of about 30% compared to the previous model, which means up to 700 km.
