Polestar and CAKE, the Swedish two-wheeled electric vehicle company, have announced a second limited edition Makka Polestar electric scooter in sky blue. The sky-blue body was first used on the Polestar O2 electric roadster concept. It will be used for the first time on the Polestar 6, due out in 2026.
The first series of Makka Polestar edition by CAKE in the matte snow debuted in 2021 and quickly sold out. The excellent color gave the electric scooter an unmistakable Polestar personality and carried the brand's design elements. The Makka Polestar Edition also includes a small headlamp and damper from HLINS, a high-end suspension component manufacturer.
The new electric scooter model now has a retractable rear carrier for increased load hauling. Boxes, luggage racks, passenger seats, and other items may be transported more readily, making the electric scooter a more versatile commuter vehicle.
The CAKE Makka Polestar Edition has a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour and two driving modes: extended range and balanced driving performance. It is marketed and delivered directly by CAKE but will only be available in selected Polestar markets beginning December 14, 2022, via the Polestar Additional Webshop for a retail price of 5,300 euros.
