The new Citroën C4 and its electric version ë-C4 can be ordered this summer. The CEO has announced the start of order intake for the month of June. The vehicle will then be exhibited in the showroom between September and October and then put on sale immediately.

In an interview, Vincent Cobée clearly indicated that the future replacement for the Citroën C4 and C4 Cactus was close to its launch: "Citroën C4 is a vehicle that launches a new style identity".

It's a safe bet that the new Citroën 100% electric ë -C4 variant will be unveiled by a press release by May or even June, just before the launch of orders. It was already through a press release that the brand had unveiled L'Ami, its small electric city car launched at a price of 6,900 euros.

The characteristics of new electric ë -C4: based on the e-CMP platform, the 100% electric version of the future C4 should benefit from a technical sheet similar to that of the Peugeot e-2008 which is based on the same architecture. Unless Citroën decides to do better, the ë-C4 should have a 100 kW / 136 hp engine and a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery with a range of around 300 kilometres.

All technical specifications will be revealed in the coming weeks. While the presentation of the vehicle was expected at the Paris Motor Show in October. The Citroën C4 electric car will nevertheless be exhibited in the manufacturer's showrooms around the same period before the sale.
