The new EuroNCAP tests in December 2019 confirmed expectations for a number of models, but they also brought some unpleasant surprises.

Tesla Model X  - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 98% for adult passenger protection, 81% for child protection, 72% for pedestrian protection and 94% for safety systems.

Porsche Taycan - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 85% for adult passenger protection, 83% for child protection, 70% for pedestrian protection and 73% for safety systems.

Skoda Octavia - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 92% for adult passenger protection, 88% for child protection, 73% for pedestrian protection and 79% for safety systems.

Renault Captur - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 96% for adult passenger protection, 83% for child protection, 75% for pedestrian protection and 74% for safety systems.

Ford Kuga - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 92% for adult passenger protection, 86% for child protection, 82% for pedestrian protection and 73% for safety systems.

Audi Q7 - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 92% for adult passenger protection, 86% for child protection, 71% for pedestrian protection and 72% for safety systems.

Peugeot 2008 - EuroNCAP results - 4 stars: 91% for adult passenger protection, 84% for child protection, 62% for pedestrian protection and 68% for safety systems. In the version with standard features Peugeot 2008 was rated four stars. In the version with the Safety Plus package, the French model was rated with five stars.

Subaru Forester - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 97% for adult passenger protection, 91% for child protection, 80% for pedestrian protection and 78% for safety systems.

Volkswagen Sharan - EuroNCAP results - 4 stars: 89% for adult passenger protection, 78% for child protection, 59% for pedestrian protection and 62% for safety systems.

SEAT Alhambra - EuroNCAP results - 4 stars: 89% for adult passenger protection, 78% for child protection, 59% for pedestrian protection and 62% for safety systems.

Ford Mondeo - EuroNCAP results - 5 stars: 96% for adult passenger protection, 87% for child protection, 70% for pedestrian protection and 73% for safety systems.

Jeep Renegade - EuroNCAP results - 3 stars: 82% for adult passenger protection, 84% for child protection, 55% for pedestrian protection and 58% for safety systems.

Last year the Jeep Wrangler JL received a single EuroNCAP star , being dismissed both for the lack of active driver assistance systems and for the body's impact performance.
