The Frauscher boatyard, which manufactures yachts among other things, has launched a fully electric version of its 740 Mirage Air. The yacht is powered by Torqeedo's Deep Blue 100i.

The 740 Mirage Air is 7.47 meters long and was designed by the KISKA studio and Thomas Gerzer.  Part of the team was also Harry Miesbauer an expert in hydrodynamics.

The luxurious yacht offers a sophisticated design, user-friendly control surfaces and displays, a large deck area, electric windlass and bow thruster for easy docking.

Frauscher 740 Mirage Air

Torqeedo supplies the main engine and consists of a 100 kW inboard engine and two lithium-ion batteries supplied by BMW technology (i3-type). 

At a speed of 10 km / h, owners can glide silently over the water for more than 10 hours. At its top speed of almost 50 km / h, the Frauscher 740 Mirage Air still has a range of 33 km. The built-in Deep Blue 100i 2400 has been specially developed for fast-moving motor boats.
