The winner of the tender for 130 hybrid buses in Bucharest is Mercedes - Benz, and the type of bus that will be delivered is Mercedes - Benz Citaro Hybrid, announced General Mayor Gabriela Firea.
In addition to the 400 Euro 6 buses purchased last year, hybrid buses now purchased with non-reimbursable financing will contribute to the improvement of public transport in the Bucharest, and also to the reduction of pollution generated by urban traffic. The Mercedes - Benz Citaro Hybrid, manufactured in Germany, received the "Bus of the year 2019" award, granted during the IAA 2018 event. The contract value is 41.276.075 euro, excluding VAT.
