The Volvo C40 Recharge fully-electric crossover gets 5 stars in the safety test administered by Euro NCAP in 2022, placing it among the safest automobiles now available for purchase. The grade is the latest in a long run of five stars for Volvo Cars in the Euro NCAP; in fact, all of the tested Volvo vehicles currently available for purchase have gotten five stars in their individual Euro NCAP ratings.

Because it comes equipped with the most advanced safety technology of any vehicle in its class, the Volvo C40 Recharge scored exceptionally highly in the categories of passenger safety and driver assistance. These safety technologies assist the driver in various ways, including detecting and preventing crashes.
