The new Porsche Taycan GTS with a range of up to 540km

Porsche presents the new Porsche Taycan GTS and the GTS Sport Turismo at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Porsche Taycan GTS has arrived, claiming a range of more than 500 kilometers on a single charge. However, autonomy is not the sole characteristic of the Taycan GTS variant.

The Porsche Taycan GTS electric sports car is ready for its commercial introduction and its arrival in dealerships. Aside from the saloon-style body, it will also be available in the most practical and familiar variation. In addition, the new Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo has been unveiled. Both versions will be available in the United States and Europe in the spring of 2022.

We are on the verge of witnessing the first Taycan break beyond the barrier of 500 kilometers of autonomy. Porsche declares up to 540 kilometers of autonomy on a single charge (WLTP). Furthermore, the GTS version marks the debut of the third body variation in the lineup, the aforementioned Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. A model that is inspired by the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo but lacks the attributes of a crossover car.

Porsche emphasizes that the new Taycan GTS is positioned as the most adaptable vehicle in the lineup. The Launch Control feature produces 400 kW (598 hp) of power. The Porsche Taycan GTS electric sports car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

The GTS models have various distinguishing elements on an aesthetic level. Many elements, such as the front apron and the base of the outside mirrors, are completed in a dark or black tone. The black Race-Tex fabric upholstery and the brushed metal pack with an anodized black finish are featured on the inside. In addition, a new panoramic roof with sunlight control is available as an option; it is separated into nine parts, each of which may be changed independently. A panorama roof with Sunshine Control changes from clear to matt thanks to an electrically switchable film made of liquid crystals.

The adaptive air suspension has the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping technology, which is specially tuned to the GTS versions' setup. In addition, the Porsche Electric Sport Sound has been tweaked to emphasize its athletic nature. The Taycan GTS can be equipped with additional rear-axle steering.

Inside, The cockpit of the Porsche Taycan GTS electric sports car is ahead of the agility of the new member of the fully electric Taycan family. Ergonomically, the operability leaves nothing to be desired: the multifunction sports steering wheel is electrically adjustable in height and length. The comfortable sports seats are also adaptive and electrically adjustable in 18 ways.
