The Opel Mokka-e electric compact SUV is powered by a 100 kW / 136 hp electric engine, the maximum torque is 260 Newton meters. The battery has a capacity of 50 kWh. The standard range in the "normal" driving mode is 322 kilometres according to the WLTP cycle. The Opel Mokka electric has 3 three speed/driving modes: sport, eco and normal.
The Opel Mokka second generation is 12.5 centimetres shorter, a few centimetres shorter than the first generation. The 4.15 meter Mokka has a 350 litres trunk, but with comparable equipment, it is up to 120 kilos lighter than the previous model. The new Opel Mokka-e electric SUV is based on the CMP (Common Modular Platform) architecture.
The new Opel Mokka will also come with petrol and diesel engines from the PSA group in 2021 (three and four cylinders in the range between 100 and 150 hp), but Opel is currently focusing on the electric version Mokka-e.
In addition to the ability to charge quickly (up to 100 kW direct current), the new Opel Mokka-e electric SUV is also sociable with alternating current: the on-board charger also processes (optionally) three-phase charging and can refill it with up to 11 kW at the home wallbox. Opel grants an eight-year warranty on the battery.
Adaptive cruise control, a 180-degree rear-view camera and an active lane departure warning system are available. LED lighting all around, an electric parking brake and traffic sign recognition will be standard on the Opel Mokka in the future. Optionally it can even be ordered with the IntelliLux LED matrix light.

According to Opel officials, the new Opel Mokka will be available for order in late summer 2020 and will be available from early 2021.
